Tim Schwartz

Tim Schwartz is a researcher for the cluster Social Security. He specializes in quantitative research methods, with a specific focus on empirical microeconomics.

Tim works on different quantitative research projects and performs specific data-analyses. One of his major projects concerns the objective distribution of social assistance budgets for municipalities. Moreover, he works on a research project that looks into different forms of cohabitation related to retirement benefits.

Before Tim started working at SEO Economic Research, he finished both a bachelor in Sportmanagement and a bachelor in Economics, Governance and Management. After finishing both studies, he graduated cum laude from his master Economics and Governance at Leiden University. During his study period Tim did an internship at the department of Social Affairs and Unemployment. For his master thesis he examined the casual effect of job insecurity on different health dimensions.
