Koert van Buiren is Head of SEO Economic Research's Market & State Cluster. Koert studied General Economics at the University of Amsterdam and graduated in (international) macroeconomics. He has more than 10 years' experience with applied economic research and consultancy services for government authorities and the business community. He is specialised in state aid, tendering and Market & State issues.
He has advised and assisted various corporate clients in the Netherlands and abroad with economic research in competition and state aid cases, and also supports government authorities and companies with state aid research, studies of the financial-economic aspects of complex tendering procedures, supply and demand analyses and economic projections. Koert has also carried out competition and regulation research for ministries in the Netherlands and abroad, the European Commission and central banks.
