SEO Economic Research was commissioned by the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations to study the experience and needs of companies in their business with Latin America. This involved carrying out web surveys among Dutch and local companies during the November 2014 to February 2015 period. An overview of existing trade promotion facilities was also drawn up, based on information requests to the ministries concerned.

The aim of the study is to contribute to the discussion of the next steps and the policy measures needed to further promote trade between the Kingdom – particularly the Caribbean part – and Latin America.
