The Economist refers to SEO research

The authorative British magazine The Economist refers to SEO research on the impact of scarce airport capacity on air fares in its issue of 16 november 2017. SEO concluded that scarce airport capacity inflates fares at European airports by € 2,1 billion per year. This is expected to increase to € 6,3 billion in 2035 due to increasing capacity shortages.

The Economist refers to this SEO research in an article on the current European system of allocating scarce airport capacity to airlines. The system hinders competition and allows airlines to increase air fares. As a result they are generelly not in favour of capacity expansions.
