Astrid is a junior researcher at the cluster Financial Markets and Finance. She started in August 2021 at SEO Economic Research.
After her bachelor Economics and Governance at Wageningen University and Research, she obtained two master’s degrees at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam: Economics and Econometrics. She completed the master Economics cum laude. During her master thesis she investigated the effects of monetary policy shocks on the TFP growth in the United States. This was written as a part of an internship at DNB. She wrote her second master thesis at Triodos Investment Management. There she aimed to quantify the effects of institutions on the SDG scores of firms.
