Elisabeth Hoole

Elisabeth is an associate consultant in SEO’s Global Economics team, where she focuses on macroeconomic research and quantitative and qualitative evaluations of development programmes. In her work at SEO, Elisabeth uses various quantitative and qualitative research skills, including econometric modelling and estimation, survey analysis, interviews, macro-data analysis, and literature studies. Among other topics, she has been assessing capacity development programs conducted by the IMF and World Bank; trade flows between the Netherlands and other countries; and the effectiveness of business training programmes.

Elisabeth has previous experience working in Sri Lanka as an economic research assistant at Verité Research where she focused on analyzing government expenditure on key sectors, and collecting and analyzing data on trade. Elisabeth holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Economics, with a minor in Political Economy, from the University of Amsterdam.
