Juliëtte Tillie

Juliëtte Tillie has been working as a researcher within the Competition, Aviation and Innovation cluster since July 2025. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Econometrics and Operational Research from Tilburg University and a master’s degree in Econometrics and Climate Change from VU University Amsterdam.

Juliëtte received her bachelor’s degree in econometrics from Tilburg University. She wrote her bachelor thesis at the Zero Hunger Lab, where she collaborated on a project about optimization problems within food supplies.

She did her master econometrics at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, majoring in climate change. During her master she studied the scientific interface between econometrics and climate studies. For her master’s thesis, she focused on the causal relationships between important climate variables within the El-Niño Southern Oscillation.

Besides her studies, Juliëtte was an active member of study association Asset | Econometrics. Here she was, among other things, chief editor for the association journal Nekst and did a board year as secretary of the association.
