Benefits of the Olympic Plan

The social benefits of the Olympic Plan 2028 are in excess of the financial returns from the Games, possibly by hundreds of millions of euros a year. The Plan includes a large number of measures besides the Games, for example to improve the health of the Dutch population, which will result in less sick leave, more labour participation and higher productivity. The Games will moreover have non-financial effects, such as greater national pride and solidarity, which will also be of substantial value.
