Alex Fleuren
Alex works as a researcher in the Global Economics & Development cluster.
He obtained his bachelor’s degree from University College Utrecht and subsequently completed two research master’s programmes – mathematics and philosophy of science -at Utrecht University.
He then did an internship at SEO, where he contributed to a range of projects. These included conducting social cost-benefit analyses (SCBA) for infrastructure, contributing to the development of a dashboard on the economic effects of trade tariffs, evaluating projects in the field of energy access, and working on streamlining the use of AI.
