Jasper van der Vos
Jasper works as a junior researcher within the cluster Finance, Regulation, and Governance.
He graduated with a master’s degree in Econometrics and Management Science from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, with a specialization in Business Analytics and Quantitative Marketing. For his bachelor’s thesis, Jasper developed a model to investigate whether there are differences in food choices between different age groups, specifically regarding healthy and unhealthy choices. During his master’s program, he learned more about varying econometric models in business context. His master’s thesis focused on integrating the effects carelessness and slipping in discrete choice models.
In addition to his master’s degree in Econometrics, Jasper has a second master’s degree in Educational Psychology, providing him with a good understanding of both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
