Rindert Ruit

Rindert is a medior researcher within the cluster Labor. He has extensive experience working with quantitative datasets, in particular microdata from Statistics Netherlands (CBS). In addition, he has expertise in designing and analysing surveys and in qualitative research methods, such as interviews.

Rindert has previously worked on a range of studies covering topics including labour migration, temporary agency work, the labour market outcomes of refugees from Ukraine, the transition from education to the labour market for students in economics, and pregnancy discrimination in the Dutch labour market.

Before joining SEO, Rindert obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (cum laude) and a Master’s degree in Policy Economics (cum laude) from Erasmus University Rotterdam. During and after his studies, he gained experience teaching at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Utrecht University.
