Benchmark study on airport charges and government levies 2016

In this benchmark study for the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment, SEO analyses the airport charges and government levies at Schiphol and ten competing airports. SEO also looks, amongst other things, at the tariff differentiations in the airport charges used by the studied airports. In addition to total airport charges and government levies based on a standard package of aircraft movements, the results of the analysis show how the above differentiations affect airport charges per turnaround (period of landing, stay and take-off) for various types of aircraft. In this regard particular attention is paid to the tariff differentiation where a distinction is made between origin-destination (O/D) and transfer (connecting) passengers.
