Network quality and catchment area analysis in the air cargo industry

The model – named NetCargo – is based on the widely cited Netscan connectivity model (Veldhuis, 1997) and is adapted such that it reflects characteristics of the air cargo industry. In the model cargo connectivity is defined by all possible direct and indirect connections operated on widebody aircraft, weighted for the quality of the connection.
