Menno Pomp
Menno Pomp is researcher in the cluster Social Security at SEO Economic Research. At SEO he has worked on developing models and conducted econometric analyses of policy pertaining to labour markets, pensions and healthcare.
Menno holds a master’s degree in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from Tilburg University, where he previously earned his bachelors degree. In his master’s thesis he researched the moral hazard effect of deductibles in healthcare as a trainee at an insurance company.
Besides his work at SEO and his study, Menno has experience as a student-assistant at Tilburg University, where his responsibilities included teaching tutorials in micro- and macroeconomics.
At SEO, Menno has contributed to diverse projects, many pertaining to the Dutch labour market. In addition, he has worked on models allocating the Dutch social security budget amongst municipalities.
