Robbert Rademakers is a researcher in SEO’s Global Economics practice. At SEO, he contributes to evaluations and research projects in the area of international development and other global economic themes.
Robbert has extensive experience with both quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods, including with advanced econometric methods that he likes to apply to challenging empirical research topics. Furthermore, he has experience with conducting interviews, surveys, literature reviews, and cost-benefit analyses. He currently focuses on the evaluation of private sector development programmes and agricultural value chains in low- and middle-income countries. He has experience in MENA countries such as Turkey and Iran and also evaluated social welfare projects in Indonesia.
Robbert holds a master’s in economics from Radboud University and expects to receive his PhD from Radboud in mid-2022. Part of his academic research focuses on the evaluation of social welfare programs in the developing world and our understanding of ethnic and racial stratification as part of the social fabric. His academic work has been published in top field academic journals.
