Note Revaluation frequency spectrum A2

Following the ruling of the Appeals Board for Trade and Industry on 8 January 2015 (ECLI:NL:CBB:2015:2), SEO, in collaboration with the Institute for Information Law (IvIR), has developed a methodology for the revaluation of the renewal of FM frequency spectrum A2 for the period of 1 September 2011 to 1 September 2017. The new method produces a value for renewal of the A2 licence (before tax) of € 12.720 million. This is the amount that would be payable as the renewal price per 1-9-2011, given a one-time payment at the beginning of the licence period per that date.
