SEO Amsterdam Economics and ecbo perform the monitoring and evaluation of the Regeling Cofinanciering Sectorplannen (scheme for co-financing of sector plans). As part of this evaluation, six quick scans will be published. These six quick scans present an overview of the state of affairs. This fourth quick scan assesses the contents of the sector plans, the planned measures and the progress (as of late August 2016) of the measures. It also discusses employer satisfaction and the application procedure within the framework of the plans.

As part of the first two tranches 76 sector plans are in progress, with an expected 382,231 participants in total. A total of €325 million in co-financing has been awarded. In addition, there is funding by the sectors themselves for a total of €716 million. Of the 382,231 scheduled participants, 268,413 have been realized to date. As part of the new third tranche 26 sector plans are in progress. Their aim is to offer 18,588 programmes that are focused on transition to new work.
