William Luiten - Healthcare & Social Security

William Luiten

William Luiten is researcher in the cluster Care and Social Security. For Econometric research he works mostly with panel data, but also does qualitative research by conducting interviews, surveys and conjoint analysis.

Within the cluster of Care and Social Security, William supports the researcherteam with his knowledge of different econometric models, like fixed effects models, random effects models, instrumental variables and diff-in-diff models. He also performed multiple literature studies.

After his bachelor economics and business economics at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, he completed his master Economics also at the Vrjie Universiteit. In between he studied half a year in Shanghai at the Eastern University of Politics and Law. In his bachelor thesis he quantified the effects of quantitative easing on the 10-year Dutch government bond yield. In his master thesis he investigated the effectiveness of different forward guidance types. Thus, his also has expertise regarding monetary economics and finance. After finishing his master degree, he directly started working at SEO.
